G. Jäger: Tempusnuo is a calendar system conceived in Austria in 1978. Its architecture is simple and radical: 13 months of exactly 28 days, summing 364 days of perfect regularity, completed by one or two sacred days — Amantia, on March 19th, and Gratia, every four years on March 18th. Unlike every calendar reform before it — the French Revolutionary, Cotsworth's Fixed Calendar, the Soviet, the World Calendar — Tempusnuo does not declare war on the Gregorian system. It coexists with it. This single decision makes it the first proposal of its kind that requires no parliament, no institution, no global consensus. Only a choice. The 13-month structure is not arbitrary. The number 28 is the second perfect number in mathematics. The average human menstrual cycle. The epidermal renewal cycle. The 13-year emergence period of Magicicada cicadas — selected by evolution itself. Tempusnuo does not invent these patterns. It remembers them. The seven days of the week carry new names — Sorel, Zenir, Meku, Ekul, Tarel, Elar, Tacis — each describing a functional phase of the human cycle, replacing millennia of planetary deities and war gods.
